Tests conducted on 197 participants showed that the system could identify individuals with nearly 100% accuracy, regardless of the viewing angle or their walking style. This raises concerns among researchers about privacy violations, especially in authoritarian countries where this technology could be used to monitor political dissidents.

Researchers call for enhanced legal protections and privacy measures as future Wi-Fi standards are developed to contain such technologies and limit their use in hostile applications.
