Launch Test Details

The Starship V2 rocket was launched on October 13, 2025, from the Starbase facility in South Texas. The rocket consists of the upper stage called “Ship” and the Super Heavy booster, both of which are reusable. The entire vehicle stands approximately 122 meters tall.

During this launch, SpaceX addressed issues encountered in the tenth launch test, with the upper stage experiencing a smooth re-entry through the atmosphere and a gentle landing in the Indian Ocean.
